We are a karate organization that follows and forges the traditional forms of Shotokan Karate as orginated by Master Gichin Funakoshi (1868-1957), developed and taught by Kancho Hirokazu Kanazawa. With the World Headquarters in Wixom, Michigan, United States of America.

All students are of all ages from 5 years old and upwards. Men and women, boys and girls also with members of the same family training together. Shotokan World Karate offers no barriers to race or creed. Shotokan Karate is well suited for everyone regardless of age, gender or physical condition.

Shotokan World Karate was not founded as an organization whose major purpose is hold matches and tournaments, although it does sponsor tournaments. It's major focus is the practice of karate. The purpose is the teaching of Shotokan Karate as a " WAY OF LIFE ".
